WEZESHA YOUTH INITIATIVE

Wezesha Youth Initiative is a Vibrant National Youth Led Organization registered in the year 2018 strongly aligned with country’s youth policy and the United Nations United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).

Our major objective is to effectuate sustainable development in communities the key interventions have been capacity strengthening for young people on key thematic concerns: Youth Training& Mentorships, Mental Health Awareness, Talent Development &Exposition, Conservation (Ecological Justice) , Governance Research, SDGs & Civic Education, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Entrepreneurship incubation and policy advocacy for youth program, we also do charitable activities (Sanitary campaigns, Street Family feeding programs, counselling and orphanage based support).

We Include Everyone

We also work with socially excluded groups including persons with disabilities, sexual and gender minorities in different communities. We have youth working groups in 12 counties in Kenya, we strive to be the top Youth Led organization nationally. We encourage and strengthen collective social, economic, cultural, environmental and technological initiatives developed by youths across the country to remove obstacles of unemployment. This helps in their empowerment enabling them to have sustainable livelihoods.

We are proud official conveners of MR &MISS TRANQUILITY a national Pageantry which has attracted hundreds seeking to promote peace and stability of the country

Successfully convened consecutive commemoration of World AIDS Day, where more than 400 people were tested, counselled and linked with Heath facility in Majengo Pumwani Area

Trained hundreds of Youths on Table Banking, and Saving Techniques, including
digital skills in Majengo Pumwani slums Nairobi

Successfully organized Students Police Dialogue to Bridge the tensions between
University Students and Police (community policing dialogue).

 Successfully convened more than 20Talent shows including MR&MISS Wezesha and Tranquility event, winners have since engaged in various communities led projects.
